Block casting - 3956618 should be a 1969 327 or 350 V0317FB - Flint, March 17 1969 327 or 1955 265 Heads - 8927185 - 69-76 307/327/350 70cc chamber It is suppose to be a 327 but I have been unable to confirm this for sure, is there a way to confirm this???

I may be able to get a complete car barn find that has been stored about 20 years. They have gone out to start it every year or so but it has been a few years since it has been started. I will see some pictures tomorrow but wanted to get some of your opinions on this car as well.

I did some changes regarding the real springs and would like to loosen and re-touque everything. My 66 chassis service manual is pretty clear here regarding the front and rear suspension , except for the torque on the front upper arm pivot shaft bushings. I think the ps gear is a little off center, do I first have to center the gear, then I have to adjust the tie rods so the car is pointing down the road, then re-position the steering wheel. Is that correct? If so, do I have to take it go an alignment shop. Or is there some why I can make sure the gear is center...

I wonder if this is going to work? It had been leaking due to rust and croosion. I cleaned and cleaned, applied with a razor blade, will sand with various grits of sandpaper. If it sticks it should work. You can buy new shafts; but they are very expensive or find an old 66 or later PS gear with a good shaft...

Using the long weekend to prime my Nomad Wagon with DP60LF epoxy primer. trying to keep focused on only one care torn apart at time. I like the color and may run with it for a while, or i may keep going and do a finish paint. In either case, it needed to be done.

Sooooo...is this a good idea or not?!? Can I use plain old spray paint or do I have to use the engine paint? I want to paint them and the frame just below the doors to bring out the blue flames and maybe the blue in the paint too.

I've bleed brakes before; but just not sure about how to flush the whole system with denatured alcohol. Could someone explain? It's my understanding that you must do this when changing to silicone brake fluid. Thanks.

Someone mentioned that the synthetic brake fluid would not damage paint. So should I think about doing that? I am replacing my rear wheel cylinders and replacing or rebuilding master cylinder, so should I make the switch now? Advantages/disadvantages or other things to consider? Thanks

Looks like the brake fluid eaten away some paint. Not positive; but think it is comming from the master clinder and then drips down onto the frame. I don't think the fitting is leaking.
