Installing a 02 sensor

I picked up a pair of ceramic coated headers last week. Can they drill a hole in it and weld in the 02 sensor bung like my old steel headers? I know I am suppose to wait until next spring to work on the Chevelle but I can't help myself ... this is my 2nd upgrade this fall and I already want to look in to building a custom console!

Yeah you can weld in bungs, but the coating will be compromised/ruined at the welding site, and be a for-sure rust point. Why not install the bungs just after the collectors in the exhaust pipes?

I was actually thinking of doing that as it does make sense doesn't it. I thought it might be a problem with the ceramic headers but I have never had them before so didn't know for sure. After buying these I did see a pair in the Line Chaser, brand new for $20. Oh well, I should be MUCH happier with ceramics shouldn't I? Thanks John!
