As I was starting to clean the engine bay I noticed all 3 bolts of one of the frame mounts had loose bolts. No idea of how long this had been going on (probably years). I thought the lower hole was just over the bolt diameter. The top two holes are slotted. Are these tightened after the engine is in and engine mounts bolted to frame mounts.Maybe it is worn some, maybe bolt is worm. As a result I am thinking I should investigate further. It appears the drivers side does not have slotted holes according to the AIM, just the top two on the passenger side. So how can I best get at those bolt heads & nuts? There are access holes from the bottom. Is this a two man job? Is it better to have the car blocked up and the suspension hanging free or the wheels setting on blocks?

If the bottom hole is not slotted, the mount can only be in one place. I've always tightened those before engine install. You do get a socket in from the access holes on the bottom.
I believe the slots are for mounts for different engines, as these frames were used across the BOP A body lines too.
