It's all Bryan's fault...

I decided to bling out the Malibu a little bit since I think it has a bit of a 'grandpa car' look with the Rally's, and REALLY liked the rims Bryan put on his, so I'll blame him.  beers

Mine are 17's and not 18's/20's like Bryan as I'm still an old skool guy at heart, but like a little bigger rim than a 15".  So here's the details:

U.S. Mags-17x8's all the way around

'Rambler' U111 model

Tires Nitto 555's

Front: 255/45/17

Rear 255/50/17

There's about a 1" height difference front to rear, so it has a little bit of a rake, which I like.

Here's the before pic (sorry for the giant size pics... I still haven't figured out how to reduce them):

Here's the 'after':

Yep, I do like those wheels !!

What I really want to know is, how did you buy a new construction home in a developed neighborhood with mature trees.....or did you move already and I missed it ???

Thanks Mitch.

Yeah, kind of like flipping Chevelle's every couple of years... we seem to move as well.  Although we were in the MN house for 8 years, which was a record.  Anyway, we moved a couple of months ago to get closer to where we work since the new house we bought 2 years ago was in a smaller town and we ended up coming to the area we just moved to all the time anyway.  And, the first house was too big for our long term plans.  Plus, the latest house is only 3 blocks from where I work, and 7 min. from Tina's work.  We break ground on a 14 x 20' shop behind the house in a month or so (that's the biggest I can get approved by the city for our lot size), so I'll have a mini-man cave but at least it's a place to work on and store the Chevelle.

I like those wheels, too.

And Mitch, you finally changed your picture to show the real progress on the car.
