Hope to start hauling cars next week, 26-27.
Mitch and I are looking at those same days to start playing with the four post lifts.
After memorial day weekend I hope to have a Couple of "move" days on the 4-5th and 11-12.
Mitch and I have no clue as to how many Lifts we can move we can move in a day. Plan is after a/m and before p/m rush hour.
I have three four posts in Saint Paul, two in Shakopee.
Primary order of move, Cars first, Hoists second, stuff next with pallet racking at the end.
Most of the taller pallet racking will stay in a pile until set up in new building next year.
Will probably rent a scissors lift for offloading pallet racking and taking it down.
Another friend has offered his enclosed car hauler, which will work well for "stuff"
I have several family members that are helping.
This is a 15-plus year accumulation of "treasures"
Almost all my "stuff" is 1966 A-body or 1968 B-body. ElCaminos -a-body Impala-Bel-air-Biscayne-b-body.
I know for those working "real" jobs weekdays can be a problem.
On the weekends any help will be appreciated.
Food and beverage will be provided.
All this is pending the temporary storage getting painted by the 25th.

Sounds like June 4th (Saturday) will be a "stuff" day. Still verifying access for next week to start moving hoists. Guessing Two Saturdays 4th and 11th for stuff and racking. Plan on renting scissors lift also. Needless to say I will be dragging some cars during the week. Four cars and three parts cars in Shakopee. one drives. (78 Malibu) Five cars and one roller frame in St. Paul, one drives. (Biskwik) Three cars in Castle Rock. That is 14 to haul and two drivers. Will (hopefully) start hauling cars next week so Mitch and I can play with Lifts.
Out of town this weekend.

The plan is to be at So. St. Paul at 9 am tomorrow to move cars and maybe a lift. If you want to move totes with your truck, I think Karl would be OK with that.
Hauled two cars tonight. The Blue Elky, Blue Biscayne project and drove Biskwik. Son followed me in the Burb with the trailer on. Only three left in St. Paul. Probably will leave two for the fourth.
Biskwik at 3500 rpm, Burb 55 mph. Serious gears in Biskwik.
Still very few cars passed us!
Mitch aka (genius) will probably be so efficient that all three lifts will be sitting in Farmington by 3:00.
Anything anyone would like to do to help that doesn't result in injury or breakage is appreciated.
Will see how tomorrow goes, develop plan B once we have a feel for the lifts!

Was thinking about your lift situation, wonder if a pontoon trailer would work for that. Raise lifts to a point and lock them, back trailer under lift and crank up the trailer to get them off the ground? It sounds like it would work in my head anyway.
Yup, could work. Really tippy as wheels are way inside of pontoons/ramps. My neighbor had a couple, I peeked, no brakes either, lighting minimal. We were going about 20 miles, including Hiway 52.
Thankfully Mitch-- AKA --genius had a plan! Moved three today, plus one car on my Featherlite Trailer. AND we still have all our fingers and toes. Major win!! Will post pictures tomorrow.
Thanks again for your interest/input!

St. Paul is pretty much cleared out.
Making room in Farmington now.
I will be setting up pallet racking and filling it thru next week.
Will post some more pictures tomorrow.
Thanks to Club and Family members we moved A LOT of stuff.
Next phase is moving the two remaining four post lifts from Shakopee.
Mitch and I are looking at Monday the 20th or Wednesday the 22nd.
Weather will be the deciding factor.
Chime in if you want to watch the "master" load these things.
I know Randy has indicated a desire to "play" during the week.
Anyone wants to participate is welcome.
Also see posts in Members section.
