This car was built by the Barris Kustom's shop for the TV show. You can read about it here

The kit is pretty basic, not too many parts, but it is a PITA to build... as it's really a custom-built prototype, and the kit is like the original - cobbled together from a bunch of parts!

The pics show the engine/trans/axle build & detailing, then the frame/suspension. 

I'm using Testor's "Model Master" enamels for the bulk of the project, but the body & accessories are done in their "Metalizer" line of lacquer paints.
