I have a few clutch fans that need new clutches. Do you have enough room for one of those?

I'll measure the distance later today.

I always get confused between thermal and viscous. Seems one of them always roars when cold. My pick up does that and it makes no sense to me...headscratch

Mitch,

I have a 4 blade fan from a long water pump sbc that you can have.  Just need to figure out how to get it to you...  I'll be in Rosemount this weekend if you want to stop by or have somebody pick it up for you.

I'd meet you somewhere, but my time is dedicated to packing up the shop.  clonk

That's what I'm lookin' for, just a basic fan. I have a guy supposed to be here around 9 am for a core support I'm selling. I'll find a time after that to get down there.

Maybe when you get back, take a quick measure of the mounting holes to be certain...tiphat

Mitch, it looks like the holes are 1 1/2"" on center.  I'm very confident this came off a sbc 350 with a long neck water pump, but you're welcome to try it and keep it even if it doesn't work.  The height from the fan tip to the center is also 1 1/2" spacing for depth.

OK, I'll measure mine again, but I think you have an early, short pump blade.

It was so many Chevelle's ago... I don't remember for sure now!  Lol. It might have had the wrong fan on it when I bought it...

Hope it's not the one that blew backwards.

Yeah, that's how you discover it was a reverse flow water pump fan from a serpentine system!   clonk

OK, you are measuring differentially. I measured across the face, over the center hole to come up with 2 1/8th. Measuring the same as you, I come up with 1 1/2 also. Please measure across the face to verify the 2 1/8th.

It's 2 1/8" hole center to hole center across the face.  Looks like we have a winner?

Great.  You don't need to pick it up this weekend when I'm back, but it will be gone the 1st of May.  So, let me know when/how you want to pick it up.  Thanks!beers
