With a new 383 Stroker going in soon I need to start thinking about the rest of the drive-line. I have the standard 8.2 rear-end in my 72 with an Eaton posi, 3.73 gears nad 26" slicks but are still using the stock axles. I go to all of the bracket races at BIR and run with MDRA so I am concerned that these original axles may not hold up. My initial search at Summit gives me "C-Clip, 1541H Alloy, 28 Spline" but the length being different, 30.120 or 29.620? That was only the Summit branded axles, other brands were different too so which length is correct?
