Need a new fridge...

Our 26 year old side-by-side Sub-Zero lost the freezer yesterday. Lots of melted ice cream and food thrown in the sink and trash. The refrigerator side still works good, so we have a few days to replace it but we looked at new Sub-Zero's today and WOW, 8k for a new one...doh Ain't gonna happen. I found a discontinued floor model with the same basic specs in a different brand for just over 3k.

Anyone want a free beer/shop fridge ??? The sucker is big and heavy so bring a truck or trailer and a few strong friends...laughing

Maybe you can find a thermostat or a fan for it online.  Those things do go bad.  Expect 8-10 max from the new  stuff.  zero

All the refrigerant leaked out. I recharged it and it worked for a few hours and then nothing again. Something in the coil must have given out.

Great deal, you could keep the beer and soft drinks cold on one side and the snack food on the other.
