If anyone is looking for a good, cheap driver for winter or just daily use, here's a good one. '97 LeSabre 4-door, white, loaded, leather interior, new serpentine belt and fresh battery. 123K miles on the 3.8l V-6, stored the last couple years (hence the new battery) and the owner has decided to finally get rid of it for the garage space. He is a pal and I know this is a good car, so I'm posting it here before it hits craigslist. It still gets 30 mpg on the freeway and everything works. Totally worth the $1500 he's asking, and he will take 1300 to get it gone. Let me know if you want it- I will connect you with him. He is a solid dude and this is a good deal.

Scott, how are the rockers and engine cradle mounts ?? These cars are known for rusting badly in those areas.

The 3.8 engine is great without the issues of the 3.1 or the 3.5 plus that car will get solid 28+ MPG
