Our trusty '01 Taurus wagon has gone on to higher education with John Jr. - leaving Sheryl without wheels. Enter Labor Day weekend and car shopping.

There's now a 2011 Taurus sedan in the 40-Watt Garage. "Limited" trim-level, 3.5 DOHC V6, All-Wheel Drive, and more friggin' gadgets than...

(Yeah, it's a Ford - flame on - but Taurus is a great car)

They're decent cars, in fact most things out there are decent, just depends on if it fits the needs you have. So many people buy based on price vs what they actually need and want, then they aren't happy when it doesn't fulfill those.

 I fall into that group..2 Fords in the stable but the '47 will probably be Chev powered some day.  Also have 2 Chevys and 1 Mazda!.  We had an all Chevy garage until last year when the Impala got traded in on the Mazda and the Malibu on the Mustang. headscratch

Sheryl's got a big smile... but the mirrors don't project a little horsey on the ground, just a circle of light. (Maybe Ford didn't figure a bull would be a good image...?)
