My son and I were going to go look at this any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?  Any others that you might know of For Sale?

Looks like a LOT of car for the price !!

Just a heads up on the engine....you can't 405 ci out of a 350 block. 383 is about it.  A 406 is from a 400 block.

Looks like it's worth checking out for the price.  In the pic below it looks like some pretty good rust/cancer on the drivers side lower fender, but the ad says 'good bones' so maybe the frame and floor pans are o.k.

It does look like a lot of truck for the money. Expect to see some rust, front and expectably the rear window channels are good for trapping water as well as the smugglers box area. You should check the frame behind that drivers fender. Great father and son project, however not often very practical for more than two people, but their lots of fun.

For that price buy it drive the wheels off it then let it go or give it to Chris so he can get over and past his trauma. If the motor is any good the drive train with the 12 bolt is almost worth the price.

Heck, Bill Clinton owned one and he loved it.

Lol Trauma.laughing

I noticed that ad quite a while ago and I never noticed it posted again. That ad dates from April. If its still available, I would certainly go and check it out. Otherwise, the green one in St. Peter looks like a very good project too.
