Factory 4 speed, factory original Paxton supercharged, factory cargo sliding roof. Supposed to be 1 of 15 optioned like this with the blower.

There was one of those last year at the Pequot Show... Not an R2, but a very nicely restored v8 car - blue on blue. (Always wanted a Golden Hawk myself...)

My favorite car ever is the Avanti, even though suspension and performance wise it was subpar it just looked so cool for an early 60s car; maybe someday an Avanti II.

Even though Studebaker is long gone a lot of Studebaker’s spinoffs companies are still around. They also had several engineering firsts.
