2012 A Christmas to remember all the illness in our house---Arrrrgh!

This is turning out to be a Christmas to remember in our house with all the sickies!  I stayed home Monday with a low grade fever that started Sunday (yes I had a flu shot), and our 23 year old daughter started running a fever last Sat. that has continued and was at 104.5 degrees this a.m. when we got up!  hyper

I took her to urgent care, and turns out she has bronchitis... so now she's on the mowwy wowwy antibiotic and cough medicine.  Hopefully that fever breaks soon.  4 days at over 102 starts to scare me.

Hopefully that's it for awhile and we make it through Christmas since we are supposed to travel this weekend.

I know others in the club have been under the weather, so I guess maybe it's just that time of year... clonk

Stay healthy everyone and use lots of Lysol!

24 hours is the guideline for the drugs to be working. If it isn't dropping steadily by this evening, I'd be on the phone with the DR. asking about it.

My son had a fever like that when he was 5 and his Dr. said it was a cold. The fever persisted for days and never let up, so I took him a specialist. The guy took one look at him and predicted he had Lyme disease. I'm not saying that's what your daughter has, but sometimes you need a second opnion. The test came back positive and he was put on anti-biotics and the fever started coming down within 12 hours. We've been with that Dr. ever since.

I've been under the weather since Sunday too but am starting to improve. My wife hates it when I'm sick, because I'm as bad as having another kid...laughing
