Some big parts have begun to arrive. The radiator required some modification of the core support but it’s in. This radiator will keep this engine cool on a 100+ degree day with the air on and still have reserve cooling capacity to help with global warming.

Transmission should arrive this week, could see some tire rotation soon.

Great day to test drive a vert. Worked out a couple issues in the driveway (nice warm day for it) one electrical and the other servicing. Then it was time for a test drive, Steve and I did a couple trips and of course I had to take the owner for the trip around the block.

I was actually a little surprised with the acceleration its very smooth and you don‘t realize how quickly it’s accelerating because it is very quite, transmission shifts nicely and the speedometer is spot on. It’s not a race car but it jumped right up 60 after I turned the corner in the second vid.

Special thanks to Steve for his technical support and the tune. Also thanks to Chris for not only his help but the use of his engine test stand as well. And to gadget guy JD for his Skunk Works and welding.

This one won’t make CC; Toms right not until there ready.

And thanks again Steve for posting the videos. The entire conversion was easy compared to trying to figure out the new phone.
