Vendor Comments - Good or Bad

NCC highly endorses communicating a good experience with a vendor. Exceptional customer service, going above & beyond, etc. All of the things that would make you recommend a vendor or shop to someone else.

NCC will also tolerate a "negative" comment as long as it is:

- A warning to others about a possible scam or identity theft

- Something warning of unusual shipping practices

- Excessive delays/backorders/lost orders

- Poor packaging and consistantly receiving damaged goods

However, these types of comments must be worded/posted in a polite, non-threatening & informative manner, or they will be deleted, and a warning issued to the poster.

The NCC forum & website will not tolerate "vendor bashing" or using the Club, its membership, or inferrences of using such in a threatening manner against a vendor. If you have a problem with a vendor then work with them and FIX it. Talk to the vendor or take them to Court.

(If you deem it necessary, you can post updates of your vendor resolution progress, but they must conform to the above rules in bold.)

This is kind of a tricky subject here... we need to be able to warn and protect ourselves and others, but also make sure we don't say anything that can have adverse effects on the club itself.

On the old forum, we stuck pretty rigidly to the "no vendor bashing" rule, as it was Al's forum and he got to make the rules, we were "guests". Now we have our own forum, and can make our own rules.

I deleted my own comment in that thread, because while it was posted in jest, once the business was alerted to the thread, I didn't want it to be taken as a threat... I can understand the frustration, and I do think others should be warned about the transaction, but the rest of us should try to avoid piling on if we were not involved. I'd like to see the members allowed to be warned of what appeared to be fraud, through a deceptive description of the part.
