Just called Kitty. She said they sold it. It would have been fun to see it and determine if it was a 54,000 mile car. 34,000+ on my car when I bought it. If anyone believes that, well I have some premium land for sale in FL.
Actually looked from the photo to be possibly worth the 12K, if everthing checked out. I was thinking more like $8-9K. Especially since I traked for a new 1500 Silverado CC on Mon. I wonder how they knew it wall also original except for the radio, being that it had non-original rims. I've never seen a one owner midwest car that looked that good. Guess I am too slow on the trigger. Saw and thought about the 66 Chris bought, well at least it went to a good guy.
Maybe we'll see it around MN this summer.
A guy just bought a SS that needs, floors, trunnkpan, quarters, fender repair, full restoration and who knows what else for 14K: but it had the original read, trans, an engine, with all the d ead on casting #'s, vins, and casting dates. You will probably see it for sale in about a 1 1/2 yrs for $60k.
