Looks like a nice 67 Convertible. Looks good in the pics for 12 grand. That could be a pretty good deal.

WOW, what a gaudy stripe. Good thing it's a "wrap". I wonder what the actual body looks like under the vinyl...confused May not be such a great deal if it needs a lot of metal work.

Intresting. I wonder if the ad was edited. I dont recall it mentioning it was a vinyl stripe before. No big deal, that can be removed. Do they use much salt in Iowa? I figured it was worth posting since you dont see many 66-67 converts for under 15 grand anymore these days.

I take that to mean more than just the stripe. Sounds like it is all a wrap...dunno

And yes, they have used salt in IA for as long as MN. It could be a real rust bomb underneath. Dan is pretty close to Mason City. Maybe he could look at it if someone is seriously interested.

Depending upon how long that graphics/vinyl wrap stuff has been on (and what grade was used) you'll find out very quickly where there's paint damage and bodywork... it'll peel off right with the wrap!

I don't understand the term vinyl wrap that is used in the ad.  I though it was something similar to how they wrap the sail boats down here in Lake City for winter storage.  And the photo was an old photo and a buyer would have to wait for spring to remove the wrap.

That's what I thought (shrink-wrapped boat) at first, but reading it I'm thinking it has a solid color vinyl on it... imagine this but one color:

It's a very sticky 2 or 3mm vinyl that can be printed with anything. You've seen it on buses.

Exactly.......quick and cheap paint job over anything.

At least it can be removed without painting. At least thats how that vinyl stuff is designed.
