Do any of you running an LS engine have a pressure luber for getting a new engine ready before firing it up. Would you also be willing to loan it out. I have a friend doing a 6.0 swap and is getting close to starting it.

I don't, but I wish I would have before I started mine. I'm running a high volume pump and a Autokraft pan that has an extra long pick-up and I attempted to crank it over to build pressure and it never did. I ended up hooking a hand pump like they use to fill boat lower units to the gauge hole on the back of the block. I had to pump up pressure and hold it while it forced the oil through and repeat. After a few minutes of hand priming it would pump up by cranking.

Here's an article on how to build your own.  I might try this next time

Done this twice. Just take out the plugs, turn it over in short bursts (5 sec). Repeat until oil pressure is normal (45 or so) on gauge.

Who needs a Luber when you can get it wet yourself?
