'72 Nova parts needed.

I have a friend with a '72 Nova and he is looking for the original front seat belts in dark blue.  I have scoured the internet and placed an ad on Novas.net with no luck.  Anyone have a source for Nova parts other than the typical catalogs, web sites, etc.???   cuckoo

If he has the hardware for the seat belts just have them restiched with new webbing.

I will check my stash. I know I had a set in blue from either a 70 or a 72. They are different.

Check with your friend to see if he has retractable shoulder straps? If I still have this set it is for the fold and clip up shoulder straps.

Otherwise, forget Novas.net you have an audience of 15 members.

I will check at www.stevesnovasite.com for you since you need a post count of 25 to post a want or for sale ad.

Dave!!!!! Who can replace the webbing on seat belts?

Edit***  I placed an ad to see if some could be drummed up. If I don't find what I may have. I can definitely get them if anyone out there has some. I will sell them for exactly what I pay for them, with approval by your friend.

Here is a link so you can watch. http://www.stevesnovasite.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1737031#post1737031

Jeff,

I was amazed at the number of folks on the Nova site compared to the Chevelle site. I thought there were more Novas out there.

The shoulder harness is not retractable, it has a round button on it that clips into one side of the lap belts and then the two lap belts fasten together.  See photos.  Not being a Nova guy I don't know if these are unique to '72 or if they are multi year fit.

I saw your post of stevesnova. Let me know if anyone responds and I will contact my friend asap.

I do have a lead on some black ones and if that is all we can find I will have new webbing put on. Someone told me there is a trailer every year at back to the 50's where a guy sews belts in any color, so if I can get the buckles that is an option, not my first, but an option.

I really appreciate your help.

Jon
