Now that I went and got rid of mine I need one for my old Chevelle I sold to a guy who is going to make it in to a circle track car in a couple years. He was inspired after he saw my new Chevelle and thought it would be a cool idea. Dome or not and in most any condition should be fine.
OK, the lid on my car has a lot of surface rust that will be difficult to make smooth enough for a good paint job. I did buy a very clean replacement several years ago, so he can have the original. That will force me to put the new one on the car and have 1 less part laying around...
Hey Mitch. I would like to pick up that trunk lid, maybe this weekend even so let me know when you are going to be around.
HUH ?? I thought you were having surgery today. I can arrange a time to be home but I am working like a mad dog trying to fit 2 weeks of Township work into 4 days before my surgery next Tuesday.
If you aren't planning to be at the November meeting, you could bring the header mufflers here and I will get them to Chris at the meeting.
My surgery got moved to Monday. So, most any time this weekend I can come by other than tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Perfect, I will bring the mufflers with!

Saturday afternoon would've been good for me but I guess Sunday afternoon will work. The later, the better, as I have mowing to do in the daylight.
Tony must be physic, turns out the guy is a dirt racer after all. They actually cut the trunk lid off just north of the key hole and he was quite pleased with Mitch's so thanks again!

I should've tried my other lid on years ago. It was bent from an impact and fit terribly. I had to stand on the left side to bend the frame down enough to close it... It will take a bit more "fitting" to get it right.
