I have a couple of 64-67 rears, 3.08 open rear.

Should fit, just 1" narrower. Whopping $40

Here's one without brakes ($125): http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/pts/2433122673.html

Most guys are negotiable since not too many people want a 10 bolt anymore (unless it is a more desirable 8.5" ring gear).  I picked up a complete 3.08 10 bolt a few years back for $50.

I was wondering which years were an exact fit, I think 68 to 72?

I just posted on craigslist my 10 bolt 3.08, all new bearings and seals about 300 miles ago, it is an open rear?  Make an offer if your interested.  does not have brakes or drums, axles are good.  It is out of my 69, should be a direct fit.

Here you go Darren:

It doesn't get much cheaper at $50.

Now that the city has expressed their desire to no longer see a car on jack stands next to my garage I have until Friday to correct the situation. The $50 one is gone so I am looking again!?!

So I pick up a rear end tonight and go to get my control arms in the shed and ... I don't have any lower control arms! I remember the guy I gave them to thinking I will never use these?!? Anybody got a set of stock any condition lower control arms for a 1972 Chevelle?

Darren, I'm looking for a complete set of black rear seat belts and have a stock set of rear control arms if you want to swap?

Whoa sweet. I need to pick something up tomorrow night. I will check the seat belts to verify I have them all and what condition they are in.

OK, the old Chevelle has a complete set of good condition usable seat belts in the rear that are black. The new Chevelle is all good as well so I can let these go for sure. Let me know Stan what your schedule is like tomorrow or Friday. Thank you Gentlemen!

Thank you Stan for the good working and now installed lower control arms. Plus, it is always nice to have lunch with a fellow Cheveller!
