PARTS HELP NEEDED

Bryan,

I'm looking for the boot that goes on/in the bell housing, the the throw out bearing arm/fork (also called engine fork) passes through it, it's for my 72 Elky.   I got one from Ground Up but it just did not fit, pops out after a few clutch applications.  I have an old part number from the assembly manual   3993851.

Or if anyone knows where I could get one please chime in.

Call Modern Chev 1800-722-4828, they're in Winston-Salem NC. They show a listing for that number. It's been discontinued, so I don't have a price. Sometimes they list non-OE parts under the OE part number, so make sure you verify if it's original GM or repop.

having your part number like that makes it really slick, I did it in a matter of a minute and I tapped into the GM parts locator to see who had it. :)
