How do I remove this sticky/gooey Weld-On Stuff?
(Preview)
Would like to remove most of the sticky/gooey Weld-On stuff from the underside of my hood where it was used to hold the hood insulation in place. Is there a remover that I can use or do I just try to remove most of it with lacqure thinner? Thanks.

Picking a paint color

My new 72 Chevelle is Silver. My old one is Mulsanne Blue. Both are stock original colors. I am going to have my new one painted. I could go with the original color to make it easy. I could paint it the same as my old Chevelle as I love the color but want this new one to be different. I have a connection to get PPG...

Advice on wheel and tire choices
(Preview)
I am looking at getting a new set of wheels and tires for my car this year. Spending days worth of time searching in the last few months I have narrowed it down to a few, but am pricing tires before I buy. I can fit a fairly big tire on an 8" wide rim so I am planning on sticking with that width on all four. I...

Time to clean the back seats!!! It's ready.
(Preview)
Yeah, simple process right??? Looking through a catalog while wasting a little time at lunch, I noticed they sell a piece that goes between the back seat and the trunk structure. It's cheap enough but shipping is a killer. Essentially, it's a fiberboard piece with some jute backing. Since I'm not a st...

Since I have the engine up on the hoist I figure I should take care of that little leak at the bottom of my timing chain cover. Exhaust Cutouts

Call me crazy (again) but I want to put cutouts on my new Chevelle. Why don't they make it so it just bolts right up to the 3" header collector? They are all weld or slip on for some reason.
