I had a rusty pitted 12 bolt cover I picked up to go with a spare 12 bolt housing I have that didn't have a cover. I cleaned the paint off and soaked it in muric acid overnight and all the rust is gone. Just wondering how I can recondition it so it pitting on the outside is minimal to the eye. One of the metal spark plug wire stand on my valve cover that is spot welded to the cover on has come off. Is there a good way to re-attached it to the valve cover. Was thinking about JB Weld or an Epoxy Glue. Anyone done this or something else? Whats your recommendation or advice? Thanks, Jim

I would like to do it in my garage if possible rather than haul it somewhere. It is the bushings for the ears on top of it and it is out of the car right now. Any ideas on how to do this or offers to come by and help me or is there a portable tool for this?

I hava pint of Acrylic Enamel paint from Napa for my car. How do I make a couple of bottles of touch up paint. Also though about using one of those Preval spray kit to spray paint a couple of rims. Has anyone done this? Thanks.

Just finished re-painted the underside of the hood. I will leave this the the body shop the next time. Ready for spring and Turkey hunting. Will need to do some fine turning regarding the timing, distributor, and carb. And of course a spring cleaning.

Would like to remove most of the sticky/gooey Weld-On stuff from the underside of my hood where it was used to hold the hood insulation in place. Is there a remover that I can use or do I just try to remove most of it with lacqure thinner? Thanks.
