Good morning,

We are planning a cruise and meeting for Saturday the 24th. We will plan to meet at Kwik trip in Stillwater @0930. We will go south to Redwing and come back on the Wisconsin side We will stop for lunch and a meeting in Prescott. We do need some recommendations for the lunch spot. Let us know if you are going to attend.

Jim

Is that the Kwik Trip on the cul-de-sac off Manning (former bank building we've met before at)?

John, yes, that is the Kwik Trip.

We have been to the Two Rivers Bar and Restaurant in Prescott and the food was good and prices reasonable. Huge outdoor dining on multiple decks and a large indoor seating area too.

Parking is ALWAYS an issue in Prescott on the week ends.

Two Rivers is on the South end of town so if the weather is good, it will be everyone for themselves with parking. Look at an overhead satellite view to get an idea of where to go, if the there are no open spaces on Broad Street, the main road we will arrive on.

The town is only 2 blocks long, so walking to any of the food establishments isn't terrible.

Muddy Waters on the north end of the street is good too, but has less seating with limited seating in any one area on 3 levels and can be a wait, as they all can be. Lots of stairs may be involved with Muddy Waters.

As of now, we have it on the calendar. I still don't have the wipers working, so inclement weather would be a no go unless we take a DD.

We're a maybe...

Blackie's got a dead injector on #1, parts are "scheduled" for Friday.
Might be a little nippy for the Roadster, even with the top & windows on (the co-pilot is thermally challenged, and it's an early start for us).

If my parts arrive and I get some test-miles on Blackie (confidence builder) there's a good chance we'll be there. We haven't done "The River Run" yet this year, and fall colors are peaking.

We won't be able to make this one. Sounds like a good cruise. Bonnie and I spent Monday in the Chevelle cruising through eastern MN and western WI. Always a beautful time of the year for a cruise.
