My dash and instrument  cluster is just about out.  Did you use original style bulbs or upgrade?

I haven’t decided which light bulbs to use,  I kind of want to stay with the old style bulb, go from the 2 amp  to a 3 amp.  I haven’t removed them all, so don’t know how many were burnt out.

Big improvement Bruce. Looks great!
I upgraded the entire car to LED.  Can you tell which headlights are LED.

Bruce, you can run the headlights direct from the battery to a relay and use the switch to active the relays. Just that will improve the standard lights a lot. Not near as bright as LED, but less expensive.

Back on to the 71.
Since I was only "Fixing up" my car and not restoring it, there were some minor things that have not got around to "fixing"
Glad to say I now have a functional "Idiot light" for the water temp.
Thanks to Stan, Team Chevelle, 1971 Fisher manual and other in line info the wiring was sorted (and which stubbed wire need to be connected to)

Just to be safe I replaced the old sending unit. thumbsup
