Discussion Forum - Northstar Chevelle Club

I do have a login so I think you are tight in needing to check a box to give me access. I used the email link to email "admin" with my issue..

Same kind of issue here.  I’ve been trying to find out the password, just gave up.

We chatted about this at the last get-together at Karl's a little bit, Unless things have changed since I was "Webmaster"...

There are basically 3 tiers of access to our discussion forum:

1) "Joe Blow on the Internet" stumbles across us, and is able to view all of the public areas. He cannot start new topics/threads, nor respond/reply to existing ones.

2) "Joe" likes what he sees, and would like to interact & post/comment. He creates a username/handle & password, submits it, and gets approved by the webmaster. Joe is now able to reply and create new topics in the public areas of the forum. (He is what could be called a "registered user", but he is not a paid member of Northstar Chevelle Club.)

3) "Joe" really likes what he sees, pays his annual dues, and becomes a member of Northstar Chevelle Club. His "registered" status (on the forum) should now be upgraded to "member" status by the webmaster. At this level he should be able to see/access the "Member's Only" sections of the forum.

My guess is that you guys are still stuck in the "registered user" catagory... not "members".

Got a text from Steve... He has updated Chad & Bill's status. They should be able to access member's only areas.
