My 1970 Chevelle it’s just about completed. I am looking for front seat belts a three point type that looks as close as possible to stock. I know they didn’t have the three point without the separate belt on the headliner but I would like to get something. Do you and if you have any recommendations? Thanks

On my Blue 66 Elky I used belts from an old(square) body S-10 Blazer.
Single retractor at side of seat.
Just added a mount bolt on roof pillar between rear glass and upper door frame area.
Using factory floor holes.
Not sure how it would anchor on a Hardtop.

If you want new, aftermarket, these are somewhat close and have the GM push button latch.

 OMG, no kidding, absolutely stunning !!

There should be a bolt anchor in the roof structure for the original shoulder belt above the quarter window seal area.

I LOVE that ivory interior. IF I ever get my '70 restored, that is what it will have. My '70 SS LS5 car I bought in 1973 was all black with the white stripe.

Hard to find a pic of the shoulder belt mounting location on the web. This is a '69, but same basic roof structure.

There is a pad with 3 holes you should be able to feel thru the headliner. The 2 outer are threaded for the belt mount bracket. They are rearward from the front edge of the quarter window and 6-8 inches in front of the clothes hook.

Hey Mitch yes I know where those bolt holes are I was thinking it would be more in line with the bucket seats. I think I’m going to give those three points a try. Thanks so much Tim

I have used SSnake oyl for years. They do perfect restorations or driver quality. They also sell aftermarket belts and parts.

 Thank you for the link and a nice comments. I will have the final cut, buff and polish done on it by the end of October and that should still make a difference on the depth and shine. Yes it is very straight I’m happy with it. Thanks again
