Would this only be used with disc brakes, drum, or either?  Proportioning valve seems to go with disc brake conversion.

I missed the proportioning valve... This kit should work for either disc or drum front. I installed this same kit I got from Karl on the '66 but haven't driven it on the street to determine if they will need to be turned down to prevent premature lock up from the front disc. I didn't get a valve in the kit.

I have Impala rear brakes. They work great!!! Same 11x2in. but with a 1in cylinder, as I recall from talking to Chris, that kit comes with a 7/8cyl.   The 70 with front disc is originally equipped with a proportioning valve which I left in place, so without the PV and with the smaller cyl would that kit work the same as my Impala brakes with the PV?

The smaller wheel cylinder would be better than the larger on a Chevelle, due to the weight difference between the Impala.
I unloaded the Chevelle last Sunday in the shade at the house driveway and drove the 200 ft to the shop driveway, the rear brakes worked great..laughing

This one is sold.  I just emailed the seller, and it's gone.  Love it when people don't take down ads after they sell something as it was still active this a.m.  Waited too long to look into it.
