Every time I get one step forward  it kicks me in the nuts for 3 steps back!banghead Holy crap, now with the engine in and all the other issues on the EASY MY BUTT Vortec head swap.

Battery in and the battery only being 16 months old is shot wait for new Battery.

New battery in and NOTHING! totally nothing ground or something not connected. Now chase that issue along with all the other problems yet to be found.

 So tired of this car with a new problem every time another is solved. Maybe this is why I am hating GM cars more and more.

I couldn't even have a GM daily driver without problems, and the next guy that tells me replacing intake gaskets is standard maintenance  item get dentures.

Wow with the exception of the Saturn, every GM I have owned needs gaskets. No wonder the new daily driver is a Fusion.

Just never ends with this car! Son jacked up the car by the harmonic balancer and oil pan. Crushed the pan into crank and now engine may need to come out AGAIN! Tried to just pull the dent out with a weld in studs on the pan and put holes in the pan when they pulled off.

Dave, just to help you out I'll take the car off your hands, your life should be better without it. But I'm sorry, I can't take the kid, you raised him he's yours to keep. Always trying to help when I can.

Well got a new oil pan and Dampner, also got the lessons on Dampner design and difference between all SBC designs.
