Nice 66 El Camino is it worth $22000

All of the panels look like they need some adjustment to get the gaps a little better.

Looks nice, but I think high-teens is more realistic for an El Camino... they just don't bring the money of a comparable 2dr Chevelle.

The bed-cover snaps ruin it for me though... have to repaint half the truck to get rid of those

Incorrect upholstery on the seats. The backs look like they may be plastic repro's too...

I see a lot of 66's with the medalions missing; I wonder what the deal is with that. What else is wrong with the upholstery? Old eyes here, can't spot the plastic repo from the metal ones without looking at them up close.

Lots of things I would have done differently on the paint. Don't like the red on the interior or in the engine bay. Just me. I am also not into the LS conversions. Old truck, old technology for me. But Auto, Disc brakes, and AC should make it pleasant to drive.

The seats just look wrong, the top of the seat back should be at or above the ‘package tray’ shelf. El Camino’s lack the leg room of the coupes, some guys try to gain extra leg room by removing the tray (not a wise thing to do) or having the seat go under it.
The snaps on the body as Derek pointed out are a big negative and require a lot of work to correct. My personal favorite “the AC just needs servicing” then for $30 why not do it. Tailgate and chrome alignment just look like aftermarket quality issues. Not sure what to think of that gas tank, not sure I’ve seen one quite like it.
I think red is a terrible color on this year El Camino looks good on a coupe but not the long body lines of the Elky. Aside from that, the LT1 install looks professional except for the engine bay colors and would be a big plus, but the autos a drag. Having ridden in a certain friends black LT1 El Camino and remembering it as a near death experience, I’m sure it runs out well gets great gas mileage and would be a great cruiser.
I think EBay is the wrong market for this truck however, in the right market it could go mid to upper teens.

The El Camino's that get that kind of money are typically the 69-72 BBC SS cars, 65 L79's, and the 66-67 396 cars, and the 69-72's often times need to have factory paperwork with them in order to get it. That price is more in line if it were a 66 Malibu. Im personally not a fan of red painted wheels to match the rest of the car.

I can answer that, maybe they forgot to add them. Thats what I did back in the 90s's. Had my seats re-done and totally spaced it and forgot to order a set of medallions for the front seats back then. Though it wont be much work to pull the cover back off and install them.
