Is this the Silver Mullet?

Nope. Not the silver mullet.

Currently, the Silver Mullet is being stored in a temperature controlled garage somewhere in North Dakota. It still lurks around every now and then but mostly sits there doing nothing while the owner tries to figure out what the hell to do with it. The body still needs to be aligned up and there are some minor leaks and such. Owner would still consider selling it for what he has into it but knows he would never get that price. So there it sits...doing nothing until I win the lottery and fix it up!

Sorry, I knew it was a silver/gray/red paint scheme, but forgot your stripe scheme. Hang on to it as long as you can. That 'someday' might come before you know it, and if you get rid of it you will be with all the other guys that say 'I shouldn't have sold that one...'.

It shouldn't take a lottery win to align panels and seal a few leaks. I'm guessing it has been pushed to the bottom of the priority list and is waiting for time more than money. A reputable body shop in ND couldn't cost more than a couple hundred to spend a few hours getting the body and panels looking good. The shop where I work part-time could do it for that here in the cities, but it would cost more in gas to bring it here than to have it done locally...

Maaco in Burnsville charges $55/hour for body work, alignment, whatever they spend time on. I just had the hood realigned yesterday after taking it off for the install. We got it back on pretty dead nuts, but the gap on the drivers side was only about a 1/16th of an inch, so they had to adjust the fenders. It was likely due to the aftermarket hood, and initial alignment when they hung the fenders prior to paint.
