Looks like it could be a nice car when finished. Been on craigs awhile I bet he is willing to deal.

Chris makes a good point. If someone’s interested and wants to go FI I have an intake, fuel rails and injectors for that engine. Looks like he moved the passenger’s side mount tower forward a bit; lots of work already done.

300 post, I think it has Derek’s name on it; looks like it’s in his area code.stirpot

Yeah, just what I need... another LS project.

The phone number is an Austin MN area cell phone.

Oh my, we need to recalibrate your thought processes Derek; this is not a LS project. It is a 1969, 300 Post (I think Post should be capitalized in this case) project without the troublesome, annoying, costly carburation, ignition and cooling issues commonly associated with vintage cars; and I think it’s your color.

There's currently a moratorium on me buying any more cars that I cannot drive.

Fortunately, she just said "drive" rather than "drive on the street".

If this is still available on Sunday, I might have to haul it home.

I like the backlit rollbar showing through the door.

I don't know guys... anybody that cuts the front end off a '69 and bolts it to their wall might be a little goofy (see above the roofline on the back wall in the pic)?  cuckoo  Actually it's pretty cool, and I know others considering putting that kind of garage art on their walls...

I’m starting to like the car. I think what looks like a roll bar is a seatbelt hanging down on the passengers side.
Stan that 69 front end wall art would be cool with a counter top made into a bar, should come with the car Derek.
What do you think the 50/53 on the firewall is? Was there a paint code 53 in 69?

Here's another carbed LS1.  Looks like they cut a few corners, (fuzzy dashdoh) but it isn't $30,000 either.  It's double the price of the '69, but I suppose you pay a premium for that front end. laughing

50 is the roof color - Dover White

53 is the body color - Glacier Blue

If a guy did get car sick that steering wheel might be a big plus.

I wonder what transmission the '69 has?

I think I answered my own question.  I see a kick down cable, must be a Turbo 350.

The Datsun sold on Saturday while I was busy hosting the Model T club for a tour and lunch at our place.

The Chevelle I'll probably call on tonight to see how flexible the price is, and if there's any of the original interior with it. It would be a good racecar candidate if it can be bought cheap enough... cage it, and build something kind of wild without worrying much about how it looks.
