396 block from May of 66 and 206 heads dated June of 65, also a forged steel crank

This is a 3855961 block with assembly date of May 12, 66.  It has been check by a machine shop in Rochester.  Assembly code of T0512EDH K193971, from a 325HP with 3 or 4 sp from Kansas City.   $250

 

Head are 3856206 used on 65-66 Chev/Pass 396/325HP cars and some corvettes 396 65  and early 427 66 engines.  Also check by the same machine shop.   $150.

 

I also have a forged steel crank from a Oct of 65 396.  $50.

Jim. Is the block standard bore still, and are you willing to deal for all of it? Im thinking this might be a good option to build and swap out the 396 I have, which has some oil consumption problems. I do have those exact same casting heads though, had my heads gone through shortly before I parked it so I don't "technically" need the heads persay but the set of heads you have here might be nice to just build another complete motor and just switch them out.
