Had the chance to walk around this car last night, it’s a clean car with 20 / 20 paint. Needs attention to detail inside and out, also needs tires, top and interior parts.

He calls it a 350/350, did the early 350 still have the oil filler in the intake? Did the 64 SS have more badging, something on the side maybe?

Seems to be priced at the top of the scale but I have no idea what early Chevelles go for. It could be a fun car if the price were right.

Looks like someone swapped on a pre-70 4 barrel stock intake manifold with that oil filler tube.  I don't think 350's had that, but could be wrong.

This would get you into BTF's since it's a '64 and that's the cutoff.

The 350 is a long block. The intake is peroid correct as is the thermo neck to get the hose to the right side instead of the left. It also has period correct short water pump which retains the alt in the correct position.
The body work and paint would need to be well done to justify the price, but if it is, then it's a fair deal.

Yes, Kevin, the 64SS had "MalibuSS" badges on the rear quarters and had trim that ran along the top of the fender, door, and quarter. This car should have a plane Malibu badge on the rear quarter and also the side trim is incorrect. Should go all the way to the front of the fender and the correct trim on the rear quarter widens out. Both the Malibu and Malibu SS should have a "V" on the rear part of front fender for the 283 and later when the 327 was offered they would have had the cross flags.
