I'm finally making progress again...

Finally finished the block sanding Saturday morning, so I shot it with 2K primer, and wet sanded it today...

Then shot it with "Hot Rod Black" satin acrylic urethane... I'd call it about 60% gloss, which is pretty close to what I wanted, and should be easy to match and touch up if needed.

Now I can work on putting the dash all back together, and finish installing the Vintage Air. I'm also done making dust, fumes, smoke, and welder flash, so pretty much the rest of the project won't have to be delayed by not allowing the kids in the shop with me. All the metal fab and body work was really tough to make time for, which is why it's been apart for over 2-1/2 years now.

You did it the right way... yours is done.

I spent months on this. Being picky about the firewall probably added a year to the project (which seems ridiculous now) but it's finally done and I can move on.

Having seen some of the work that was done before the paint went on it's very impressive. Do you have a target date for wheels rolling?
