Gotta wonder how a rusty Michigan car ended up in CA.

I would need to see the frame/body mounts/ floors before getting too excited. It does appear to be all original but has serious rust issues on the body.

I will bet this one will go over 10k possibly 12-15 because of originality and driver status.

Jim, I thought the Holley equipt engines were all 360 hp but a search came back as 325...confused

Distance is only an impediment in the mind. If you find a car that fills the need, you can get anywhere in the country and home in 6 days....razz

Looks like the guy is posting the car for someone else. He should have gotten a LOT more information about the car before he posted that auction.

My information says all 360hp cars were holley.

And 325hp could be holley or Q-jet.   A majority of the 325hp cars used the q-Jet.

360hp  with holley with manual trans  used a 3419 carb. 360 with holley and auto used a 3420 carb

 325hp with a holley with a manual used a 3139,3267, or 3268 carb with a manual trans.

325hp with auto with a holley used a 3140 carb.  Then there were some different 360hp cara with holley carbs  3606, 3608, and 3609   with K19(AIR) depending upon auto or manual trans.

 No Q-jets used with K19.

Q-jets 7026200 amd 7026201 used on 325hp cars w/o A.I.R.

Not sure if there are any corrections to this information.

This car went from a starting price of $200 to $7,101 in 1 DAY. That seems a bit unreal for the condition.

My guess is that reserve is in the $12-15K range.  Probably just another way to advertize the car though ebay.  Vin stamp on engine pad looks legitimate for a May  Flint car. If block, trans, and rear check out as original, I would guess it would take at least $15k.

Reality hit another dreamer with this one. Bid went to $10,100, which is very realistic IMO for the condition, but of course it didn't meet the reserve. Another fishing attempt at a retirement plan...doh

Would be nice to see someone get it at a realistic price and bring it back to life.

Seller is foolish not to take that highest bidders 10K and run with it. No way I would pay that kind of money for that car.
