F S 200r4 builder core $200

I picked up 2 200r4 transmissions last Friday. I'm having one rebuilt by Master Trans for my coupe and thought about having the other one built for my Camaro. I'm still undecided about a manual or auto in the Camaro and if anyone wants a good core to rebuild, I'll sell it for the $200 I have in it. I can bring it to the Bow Tie Brunch.

But there is no reason I cant keep saving up the parts I need for my projects. You guys all have children and managed to get work done. What would you have me do? Sell all my stuff since I wont have time to work on it? Dont get me wrong, I get the humor. But you guys have made time for cars while being a parent. If my stuff has to sit for years more, fine, its sat since the mid 00's. Ill gladly keep it sitting aside and get my fix at a few car shows a year and club meetings and when the day comes I get to work in the garage again, thats just fine with me. My enjoyment now comes time spending it with my new son but I can still enjoy being a car guy too, whether I have time for it or not.tiphat

the best thing when they get older they can help and do things on there own. JJ is polishing up some used beat up 15x10 welds I pick up.

Chris it is all in jest, but you see we are trying to get you to work on one of them now before he gets to mobile as Derek mentioned. It is a shame to see them just sitting and not being able to enjoy at least one of them.

We're just razzing you a bit... no harm meant, and really I'm poking fun of my own stalled projects just as much as yours... you may have noticed my car hasn't been roadworthy since just before A.J. started crawling. clonk

You may get lucky, and have an "easy" kid like Cale was. I got a lot done with him in the garage when he was a toddler.

Hey Mitch, is Master Trans a good shop to get a TH350 rebuit for my son you think? Last time I looked they were getting $350 for a rebuild.

 John at Master has  a very good reputation with a number of members here and I know of a few in MSRA who have his transmissions too. I can't speak to the actual product yet, as mine is now sitting in my shop awaiting install next month. He is very thorough and easy to work with.

I'm picking up my rebuilt TH350 tonight from MT.  Darren, I'll let you know how much it ends up costing as he had to take the guts from 2 cores (mine and Pushrod's), a good case he had sitting around since both ours were bad, and putting them all together to make 1 good trans.
