Loren, I wonder if Auto City Classics would order one in for you?

I called them on the 1 piece complete floor pan for the vert, and they actually have them in stock from Dynacorn.

Give Denny a call.

Looking for a new hood for my 1980 project.  Thinking of a  steeel 2" Cowl Induction hood for it, but to order shipping is almost $200?  Anyone know where I might find one locally?

Getting in touch with a Goodmark sheetmetal dealer in our area may be an option... If they are placing an order for a shipment around the end or first of the year., they may not charge you for shiipping if you order with them.  You may contact Goodmark directly to find any dealers in our area.  I only know of dealers in Iowa, such as Jensen camaro and Terry Stanek (Stanek Automotive) of Malcolm, Ia. but am sure there are a few in metro area..

I didn't know if they carried sheetmetal.  I will give Denny a call tomorrow.

Thank you,

Denny is the Chevelle guy, I believe they have a different guy for Camaros (a Mike, Matt, or a Steve???, Ithought it was a common name). Also, maybe try the Northstar Camaro Club classifieds?

I checked with Auto City Classic's they are not something they carry?  Stopped at my body shop, where the Camaro is, and they just became a Goodmark dealer about a month ago.  So I found my source.

Thanks for the feedback.  I appreciate it.

They only stock Chevelle parts but will bring in anything you want on a stock order. I had Denny bring in a LOT of pieces for my '67 GTO. I just had to wait a while and since it hasn't moved in over a year, that wasn't an issue...rolleyes

The Hot Rod Shop in Bethel may have parts in stock too. They used to have a LOT of Camaro metal but I haven't been there in a number of years now and with the flagging economy, they may have cut back on stock.

I was at the Hot Rod Shop in August. Not much on hand, I think they're ordering or making as necessary.
