Storage options for project cars

Guys,

My house storage is maxed out right now and I might be picking up a another car (not a chevelle though) and wondering what people do for storage options. I could store along side the garage but would prefer indoors.

Thanks,

John

Would Monticello work for you ?? I know a guy in the Camaro Club with a large barn that he might have room in.

That might work...I'll know more shortly whether I will need that info.

I talk to him about every other week. His storage options have gone down to less then half the space it used to be. Aand half of that is already taken up by his own projects. Lower level is his shop now and no longer used for storage. Only the middle. You would almost have to call him now just to see whom

I stored my cars in Nisswa last year and am looking for something closer as well. Monticello would be great if there would be room.

Ron, this is just a barn. Perfectly OK for a project to sit out the winter but I don't know if you want your car there.

I park my boat and 2 trucks at a facility in Bladwin WI. I referred Dashboard there and he brought 2 cars over on Friday. They had him park in a different building and it isn't as clean or weather proof as the one that boats and trucks go in. He wasn't comfortable with that and I believe is pulling his back out. I don't have vehicles as nice or valauble as many others on here and don't worry about the facility but I understand with a car the caliber of his and yours that you would want clean and secure storage.

I rent a spot in a pole shed with a gravel floor for my 20' camper, it's $200 for the year.  I've got a spot in a mini storage I use for overflow and have the Chevelle in over the winter. I think it's 10 x 20 and I pay $60 per month.  Not sure how much more you could get for heated storage.

What are you guys paying for heated storage?

I'm wondering if it would be worth the liability to rent out a couple of my extra spaces...

Derek, if you thinking of renting out storage space I am in : )

I store 59 Impala at Mother In Laws garage. She hates it there so may have to find somewhere else for it.

Vette & HD in PI about 3 miles from home nice thing he does not charge much becuse they are both small. in pole shed. He has a little contract and I have to prove I have insurance on them if anything happens my insurance will cover. I also give the insurance the address where they are stored.

I better make sure I don't buy anything first before I commit to renting.
