Wow. I had one nearly identical to that when I lived in Texas. Mine had bucket seats with a console and a two-speed powerglide. I still have the protect-o-plate and buildsheet.

Why do all these base model cars always seem to be green or brown. Did nobody ever order blues or silver.

Stan, we'll cut you some slack on this one. Appears to have been last licensed in '86 in Iowa. Besides, it has 4 headlights and you don't notice them.

Super clean looking car but why are they always triple GREEN. If it were a color I liked, I would seriously consider it and selling the '70 I have.

Quite simply no one wants to drive or be seen in a green car so the mileage is always low on green cars. Also anyone ordering a car with "good" options, isn't going to order one in green (or brown) that's just what the factory sent the dealerships. That's my theory anyway.

If it's still around Keith, the current owner has probably said a million times.... 'wish I knew where that Chevelle POP and buildsheet went!'.  razz

There's others in the club that have told me they had their build sheets and POP in a folder in the file cabinet, and when cleaning out about 20 years ago, threw them away!  hyper

Who knew back then how important and valuable those goofy pieces of paper would become.  Perhaps not so much for a green mist/dark green colored Malibu though.  LOL

At any rate, copies of the BS and POP were given to Dale McIntosh I think at chevellestuff.com in case anyone happens to be looking for them and runs across his website.
