It's a Buick/Olds/Pontiac 10-bolt... they're better than a Chevy 10-bolt, but they're difficult to get parts for. They put them in their high-performance stuff from the factory too.

I had one in my car for a while, but I never had to do anything to it. It was a 3.08 posi out of a '66 4-4-2

This is my first Buick; ya I know it’s a Chevelle, El Camino site but it’s a A body. I know less about Buick rear ends than I do about Chevy’s.

So what rear end is this? Will it handle 350-400HP? Are the numbers in the same place as GM?

I have a bolt-in Currie 9-inch for sale. I'll even throw in some tubular lower control arms and adjustable uppers. Good to 900hp, easy.

Just sayin'...

Kevin,

I have a couple of early 10 bolt 8.2 rears, open differential with 3.08 gears for cheap if you are interested.
