While looking into adding factory air into the Chevelle, Dashboard and I discovered the oil pressure sending unit wire. The 'Oil' light has never worked on this Chevelle since I've had it, so I didn't really think about it not working until I re-did the gauges this winter and noticed the lens for 'Oil' in the tach.
I took 5 min. today, connected the oil light wire, and wha la! The 'Oil' light turns on with the key and then goes off when it's started!
Sometimes, things do work out the way they are supposed to and really do only take a couple of min.! Thank you Chevelle Gods!

That's the one thing I don't like about our dashes, no OP gauge. I mounted a mechanical one using a L bracket and hung it off my heater core box near the firewall.

Bryan, I still have a mechanical oil pressure gauge mounted towards the back underside of the dash where I can still see it while driving, but now I have the idot light too.
Sometimes fewer gagues = less worrying... I know I watch the temp gauge WAY too much even though it hardly ever moves off 190-195 degrees !
