I bought this for my 66 SS; but recently found out it is only a recall item for the Passenger cars, nova, camaro, and some trucks.banghead

If you read the article it tell why it was not necessary for Chevelles.  Some guys have them in the 68-70 chevelles;  but it will not fit in my 66; I think because of differences in the frame, crossmember, and how the engine sits in a 66.

 

I see them on ebay for around $150-$200.  If you know of someone who is interest the first $100 takes it.  If anyone sees Karl, be sure to mention it.  It's a recall item for his Biscayne.

See some responses on TC and it looks like maybe it was installed on 66 and 67 chevelles.  So I guess its not for sale for the time being.

After more research looks like not for the chevelles; but used on pass cars, chevy II , novas, and trucks.
