I called on a vehicle from Craig's list 1/2 hour after it posted but someone was buying it as I was leaving the message!  banghead  At least the seller called me back when he got done making the transaction but it sucks I missed out on the deal.  Oh well I didn't need it or have a place for it but I sure would have like it.  A 78 F250 with 36xxx miles and no rust for $1850.

With deals like that. Ive found its almost impossible to compete with the Craigslisters out there that are checking it several times an hour because they can. Ive heard stories of guys that check C-list every 15 minutes.

I was just thinking last week how much I enjoyed picking up a weekly Tradin' Times paper. It was always fun to sort through that every few weeks. I think I still have one dated from the early 90s with a 70 LS6 in it listed for 3,800. I remember calling and talking to the guy (was still available when I called too).
