I want to rebuild the manual steering box on my 67, anyone know where to order a kit that would include the internal parts including the worm gear? Or is there a place in the twin cities that does this? How about names of places others have used. Would like to use my own steering box as it is original to the car. Thanks in advance!
Thanks guys, I will check them out. I saw that Stan posted on this and I have been meaning to tell him the transmission I got from him has worked great.

Hey Mark, glad to hear the TH400 worked out for you!
The question is... did it help you beat your son on the track? I thought about you a couple of times when we went to Rock Falls last year as a club. Maybe you'll make it this year? Hope so as we'd love to see your Chevelle!

He's still got me by .005 in the 1/8, but I've got him by .16 in the 1/4. To be fair tho, he didn't get his to the the track this year after the changes we made to his car. I installed the trans and torque converterfrom you and my car ran the same as when I had the 4 speed. I just finished swapping the converter to a tci 3500 stall. We'll see what that does for the timeslip.
