WTB: 68-72 Front Disc Spindles

Have been on my list a few years and finally getting around to it.  I have "modified" drum spindles converted into disc spindles, but want to swap for the real thing when I put on new pads this winter.  Have been searching CL for a while with no luck.  Any one have a set they want to part with?

Thanks

I'll be bringing all my disc brake parts to Karl's for the January meeting... I have to go through them to figure out what I have first, and want to keep any complete sets all together, but I might have an extra pair of spindles.

I'm curious why you want to swap spindles though... if you ground the boss flat and cleaned the threads, there's nothing wrong with modified drum spindles, as they're functionally and dimensionally the same as disc spindles.

More so to undo some "hot rodding" of modifying parts like this. Current spindles are functional and safe, but nothing better than a factory fit.

I have all of the dust shields and caliper brakes, just want to get the real spindles before I throw on the new nice set of pads I got.

Let me know if you have anything, Thanks.

I have a extra set of front spindles that I would be willing to part with. I am new to the club and plan on going to the January meeting/brunch next weekend, I can bring them with if you would like.

Jeremy, not to derail Andy's post, but welcome to the club and make sure you introduce yourself on Sat.!
