Yup, thanks for the heads up. I was in a hurry to go to the fair with the wife so I didn't express that before.

I DO have a nicely painted '68 12 bolt but it is a 3.08 open. After driving it to the alignment shop today, it needs deeper gears and a posi NEVER hurts. He is taking mine in trade for what I paid for it, so I loose nothing and am not putting out a large amount to upgrade...thumbsup

Can't go wrong at that price.  I sold a similar one with a new Auburn posi, 3.55, backing plates, new wheel cylinders, rear ss brake lines from a 70 for 1300 when I bought one of those 66 axel assemblies.

Not sure what he does. He did go thru this himself, so I'm hoping it's done right.

He bought some spare '66 body seals I had last winter and we had a laugh about meeting up again.
