One of the metal spark plug wire stand on my valve cover that is spot welded to the cover on has come off.
Is there a good way to re-attached it to the valve cover. Was thinking about JB Weld or an Epoxy Glue. Anyone done this or something else? Whats your recommendation or advice?
Drill a hole through the loom and plug weld it once and for all.
You can play with epoxies too, but that may or may not work. Unfortunately, this is right on top of the valve cover and will be easy to see. A big ol' glop of epoxy on top of your valve cover screams bad things about you. So, I'd recommend re-welding it.
Thats Scott. This is the one at the rear of the cover on the pass side. It's the metal stand, it already has 2 holes where it was spot welded. What do you mean by plug weld?
Plug weld is basically a hole your plugging up with a weld. The only problem I can see if it you heat it up too much. You will discolor the chrome finish if your not carefull.
