Some issues with a friends 4150 Holley. When we started the car this spring fuel was running in from the secondaries and kind of flooding. Seems that is solved, Gummed up needle and sticky float. So I noticed my new Chevelle has gauge never goes over 1/4 tank reading. It does go below that so I guess I have to count my blessings. But, being I like an accurate read on my fuel level ( I am funny that way lately) I did some reading on the TC site so here is where I am at: Pulled known good working sending unit...

Rainy day projects
(Preview)
Since it's supposed to rain most of today... I decided to polish up the front bumper I picked up last Fall and R/R the one that's on the Chevelle. It's dented in a couple of places from the factory bumper jack sometime in it's life. The one I picked up is driver quality, but better than what's on it. I'll...

Got one seat in!

I didn't have a lot of time today, but I finally got the driver's seat in. Had to re-trim the carpet some and make some new holes, then mount the brackets. The seats sit higher than my other ones, hope they settle down some, my head just touches the headliner and that's with the seats at their lowest mount...

This might get long as I want to be clear. I installed dual electric fans from a Ford Windstar last year. I also put in a high output alternator. So I discovered the rear windows still leaks in my new Chevelle. All I know what to do is caulk it up, maybe from the inside but I know that won't seal 100%. reminded me that the engine mounts/frame perches are different! Too bad I remembered that as I was trying to set the engine down. It looks like the easiest option is to just get new 307 mounts?
